AINA PUJOL
Human Rights & Bioculture Conservation
A passionate advocate for human rights and the conservation of biocultural diversity, a tireless peace builder, and an intrepid explorer who has devoted her life to studying and protecting the most remote cultures on the planet. She holds a degree in social education and a master's degree in cultural management, with honors in space intervention. In addition, she has obtained certifications in Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster from Harvard and in Climate Change and Nature-Based Solutions from the UN. She is also a certified educator by National Geographic. As an educator and researcher, Aina works at the CDAP Research and creation center, an organization she co-founded with the aim of developing innovative projects that promote sustainability and social justice worldwide. Her work extends primarily throughout the European Union, she also collaborates on projects with National Geographic and the UN.
What sets Aina apart is her dedication to studying and living with the most isolated indigenous communities on the planet. Through her field studies, she has been able to understand and preserve the sacred knowledge of these cultures and has developed strategies to address the discrimination and obstacles that threaten their well-being. Her work has been recognized not only for its impact on biocultural conservation and human rights protection but also for her ability to create bridges of dialogue and understanding between cultures. Seeing how exploration and knowledge can lead us to a more just and sustainable world.
